Creating Your Custom Wedding Album

Wedding albums are something we all tend to put on the back-burner. With phones being our main form of sharing and communication, printing our photos is a thing of the past, and it makes sense: life is rushing by and we’re always on the move, our memories reduced to a 6×3 screen.

I’ve been guilty of this myself, but it wasn’t until we began to dive into designing heirloom albums for our couples that we truly understood the value of keeping a record of your (and our) memories and moments in a book. Ultimately, it’s our photographs that tie us together generationally and when I put that in perspective within the context of my own life, I’m reminded of the importance of printing our photos, and why I’ll always encourage our couples to do so.

After the wedding day is over, you share sneak peeks with your friends and family, post to social media, and, inevitably, as time passes, the gallery lives on your laptop, then in the cloud, never to be looked at again. Now imagine the experience of your first anniversary, and all the ones after: you and your partner are settling in comfortably with a drink, opening an elegant, custom-designed album filled with tangible memories of one of the most exhilarating, meaningful celebrations you’ve ever had. The memories come flooding back, the moments are brought back to life. You smile at a hilarious photo of your uncle, are heartwarmed by one of you with your mom or dad, reminded of how in-the-moment you were on the dancefloor with your closest friends.

I remember pulling out piles of photographs and albums as a kid, poring over them for hours, askling my parents who’s who. History is preserved through documentation and we’re more visually driven than ever before, yet sitting together looking through our histories is a tradition that feels distant, almost completely gone. Most, if not all, of our memories are in our cell phones.

We never take the privilege of getting to tell your stories for granted, and the honor of being a part of your celebration is not lost on me. We strive not just to document your wedding day, but to help you commit it to memory in the most powerful, beautiful, and meaningful way. Each season, we carefully sample each finish and paper type for quality control before partnering with the best bookmakers we can find. All design is done in-house by us, with three rounds of revisions. Your only job is to sit back and wait for your gorgeous book to arrive at your home, whether it’s for your own coffee table, as a gift for your parents or grandparents, or, ideally, both! We take care of everything from layout to design to ordering your albums straight to your door.

Our archival photo albums come in a range of sizes: 12×12, 10×10, 8×8, and even a cute little 4×4 for more intimate collections. Each album is personalized with an elegant cover in either linen or leather, available in various beautiful colors and textures to match your aesthetic. We work with bookmakers that work exclusively with photographers to ensure not just print quality, but customer service.

There’s something indescribably satisfying about seeing your photos printed on high-end materials, bound in an elegant album. It transforms digital images into tangible memories, perfect for sharing with family and friends or reminiscing on cozy evenings. An album isn’t just a collection of photos; it’s a crafted story of your wedding day, told in a format that will stand the test of time.
